Help, my website has been hacked!

It is a fact of life, website can get hacked no matter how much security is in place. Menkom take as much precautions as possible and hardly have any problems but on the off chance things do go wrong here are some tips to begin with.

1. Your site should immediately be taken offline as soon as possible to prevent infection of other websites
2. You should immediately do a scan of your website with an online scanner we recommend. http://www.sucuri.com
3. You should immediately do a scan of your local pc and ANY pc's on the network, there is a possibility a local pc has been compromised and sending login details to remote hackers. Please use both of these popular online virus scanners. 1. http://www.bitdefender.com/scanner/online/free.html 2. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
4. We also recommend you do a virus scan with a local pc scanner called MalwareBytes it can be downloaded here. http://www.malwarebytes.com

Please note of any infections and report your findings to Menkom a.s.a.p you can contact us by phone on 1300 855 465 or send a support ticket to support@menkom.com.au for further analysis and course of action.
